Penang and Langkawi are two individual island cities in Malaysia which has been cut off from the mainland by the Straits of Malacca. Both cities are known for its attractive sightseeing and tourist activities. The beach cities are a real feast for the traveler's eyes as the islands are loaded with dozens of fun activities and prehistoric buildings.

This is the easiest, cheapest and fastest mode of transportation to travel across the cities, but there is a very less percentage of threat left on flight delays. If you want to travel by air then book your tickets well in advance and keep a track on the flight status by ringing the airport or airline.

Duration - the journey takes less than 40 minutes. There are also some direct flights flying between the cities.

Airlines - Malaysia Airlines, Airasia and Firefly are the three airlines that provide direct flights.

Airfare - the flight ticket rate changes depending on various factors like airlines, dates and seasons (on/off seasons).
